About the Site/Behind the Scenes

This website began development on the 6th of February 2026. I kept it simple and uses just one HTML and CSS file pair written by me for the whole webpage. The most complicated part of the site is probably the random page button up at the top. I'm using Flask and Markdown as Python libraries to display all of the different pages. I guess you could call me a fullstack developer. The logo up there only took me about 3 minutes to make so I might update it later. It wasn't intended, but the way I've written this website makes it super modular and expandable, so it might as well be a wiki engine. Not the most feature-rich wiki engine, but a wiki engine nonetheless.

I've actually tried to make this website several times. I still have old HTML folders with a bunch of failed attempts at it. With some of them, you can see the influence they had on the website that I finally got working. I must admit, some are better than others, but they all have their own unique visual style. I'm going to attach some screenshots of them below.

As you can see, I didn't get very far on any of them. The one in the middle was the one where I got the furthest, but that was exported from a Google Doc in an html format which was janky and overall not worth it. When I made this website I made sure to get the structure of it down first before I messed with CSS or styling. What went wrong with the other ones was I got too into making it look good before I even started to flesh out the layout of the site.

Also, if you want to know a little bit more on my creative thinking process with some trial and error, I've got a page just for that. It's called What I Learned From Making A Website.
